Sweet Traditions aim is to get your chosen products delivered quickly and in the best condition possible.


Standard Delivery

Our delivery Calculator is set up for UK Mainland only at the moment. This may change soon.
However we are happy to quote for delivery to European countries.

Delivery to Postcodes outside of UK Mainland destinations may incur an additional charge, if this is the case, we may need to contact you.

The majority of our orders are dispatched within 24 working hours of ordering.
95% of customers receive their order within 2 working days.

Small orders (Less than 2Kg) are sent via Royal Mail and larger orders are sent via a courier of our choice.
Courier deliveries will require a signature on delivery.
Please ensure that any special instructions are entered in the 'Delivery Instructions' box during the order process. This will allow us to inform our courier any specific requirements, such as instructions to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a secure area.

Please note that Sweet Traditions cannot be held responsible for any parcels that our courier is asked to leave in a location in this manner.
Failure to leave any special instructions will only delay the arrival of your products, we would like you to receive them in the best condition and at the earliest we can

If you are going to be out during the day why not consider having, your products delivered to an address where someone will be able to sign for them.
Better still have your products delivered to your work address.

If you are not in when Royal Mail deliver, then they should leave a card providing instructions of how to arrange re-delivery or at which local post office or depot your package can be collected from.

Your postage costs will be clearly visible at the checkout and are calculated by the weight or volume of the items ordered.

due to restrictions of coverage of services we are not able to offer standard delivery to the following post code areas:  BT, JE, GY, IM,  AB30-38, AB44-56, FK17-99, G83, IV1-28, IV30-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-33, PA34-40, PH18-26, PH30.

Free Delivery available

Free UK Mainland Delivery for Orders over £50

To qualify for free delivery, simply order over £50 of products and select the 'Free Delivery On Orders Over £50!' option as you check out.

This offer applies to orders with a value of £50 or more being delivered to ONE x UK Mainland address.

Unfortunately, the following locations are classified as remote by Parcel Force and our couriers, they are categorised as UK Highlands & Islands, not UK Mainland. 

Therefore, these postcode areas are not eligible for free delivery. 

IV, HS, KA27-28, KW, PA20-49, PA60-78, PH17-26, PH30-44, PH49-50, ZE, BT, IM, TR21-25, PO30-41

European Deliveries

We currently do not offer standard delivery to European Countries.
Delivery will be calculated and will include the weight of packaging materials. 
The following countries are also available for a delivery quote, but are charged at a higher rate.  Finland, Greece, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden.

Rest of the World

We believe that anything is possible, so if you want us to send our products to somewhere outside of the EU, please get in touch and we will work out what can be done.
Sweet Traditions cannot be held responsible for any delivery surcharges and import taxes or other official costs due on importing goods on delivery.
Please note more economical shipping rates can be achieved for larger orders.

Out of Stock Items

Even though we work with a whole range of quality suppliers, who are committed to ensure that we can provide the quality, value and range that our customers require, at times an item or two will be unavailable.
If this rare, but unfortunate event should occur we will do one of two things.
Firstly, we will suggest a similar substitute for the item not available.
If you are not happy with this suggestion, then we will simply credit you for it.
If no similar item to that which is unavailable can be found,  then we will contact you and ask if you would like the rest of your order dispatched and the missing item(s) sent once in stock (at no extra postage costs).
Or if you would like us to hold back your order until everything is ready.
Whatever the option chosen we aim to you fully informed and ensuring that anything that is sent to you is of the finest quality and value.

Returns Details

In order to ensure that our customers receive the very best level of service and are happy to indulge themselves with the finest products.
Sweet Traditions offer a comprehensive returns policy in the unlikely event that you are not 100% satisfied with products delivered
Please note that the following returns procedure must be followed, and failure to do so may result in us being unable to exchange goods or provide refunds.
Also please be aware that Sweet Traditions cannot be held responsible and hence provide refunds/exchanges on stock effected by circumstances beyond our control.
This includes damage and neglect after goods are received, goods being stored in conditions such as extremes of temperature that can affect some items.
Please note that items often stick together or alter appearance slightly, but will taste the same.
Also during the hot summer months goods in transit can be effected by the heat, so please be aware that delicate items such as chocolate may not always look as intended, but they will of course still taste as good as ever.

Our Returns Policy

Sweet Traditions should be notified within 48 hours of receipt of your order, if any part that of it is found to be unsatisfactory.
Please email us at  quoting your order number and full name and delivery address.  
Once we have responded to your message goods must be returned within 7 days if requested by us.
Please do not return any goods until we have replied to you.

Goods returned should be in their original condition and packaging in which they arrived, along with a copy of the invoice or packing slip. 
Once received, items will be checked and refunds on goods and postage arranged where applicable.
Sweet Traditions cannot issue refunds on simply unwanted goods due the perishable nature of goods on sale. Refunds/exchanges will only be offered on items that are faulty, and were clearly so at the time at which they were dispatched.
Gift vouchers and bespoke orders cannot be exchanged or refunded.

Sweet Traditions will only accept goods for return and offer refund/exchange if the goods were supplied by us. We will only refund the costs of fair return postage and original sale price of goods.
No additional compensation will be available on goods returned other than that already stated, Sweet are not responsible for any costs or losses incurred after costs of goods and return postage.

Sweet Traditions always strive to be fair and will go out of our way when dealing with our customers’ genuine problems.
Please note that our terms and conditions are in order to offer a simple and fair policy to deal with genuine complaints and do not affect statutory rights of either party.

Process and Packaging

Sweet Traditions will package your products in a clean and hygienic environment (5* Health & Hygiene rated) they will then be heat sealed where applicable in individual bags or boxes to ensure they reach you in perfect condition.
In order to enjoy your Products at their best we recommend that you consume them within 12 weeks of receipt, and that you store them in a cool, dark place, away from strong odours.
